Concrete Pumping Equipment NZ Ltd commenced business as a supplier to the New Zealand & South Pacific concrete pumping industry in 2003 and within 12 months became the largest business of its kind, today stocking over 25,000 spare & wear parts.CPENZ is the agent for Putzmeister Concrete and Mortar Pumps, Sany Concrete Machinery, Aliva Shotcrete Equipment, Baron Mixers & Conveyors.
Having previously owned a pumping company that ran a fleet of Putzmeister Boom Pumps we understood how difficult it was to source spare parts and good quality technical support. We spoke with Putzmeister and they decided its brand was better in the hands of people who understood its product.In a small country like New Zealand, reputation, knowledge & integrity is key!We understand that if you know first-hand about the industry you are selling to and can act swiftly when the pressure is on, customers will remain loyal.
We provide the best sales, service and technical support in the country and strive to keep our reputation as best in the business.CPENZ currently employs 10 people bringing together a collaboration of expertise from the Concrete Pumping, Ready-mix, Automotive, Hydraulic, and Sales industries. We have a family-based business philosophy, we are all in this together & we like to think if we look after our staff they will look after our business and our customers.
Putzmeister New Zealand
Putzmeister has been represented in New Zealand for over 35 years and has been the preferred choice for construction related concrete pumping equipment. Collectively we develop, produce, sell and serve our customers with high quality, highly reliable machines for pumping, distributing, and placing concrete, mortar, and high density solids, and for preparing, temporarily storing, processing, and transporting these materials. We strive to serve our customers by being close to their business and this continues to be our mission for the future too.
CPENZ carries at any one time an inventory of over 25,000 spare parts and places weekly shipments all over the world in order to meet urgent spare part requirements. We offer longer lasting, better performing parts & accessories, which means greater savings & less downtime.

Kelly has been immersed in the concrete industry her entire life, working across her father’s businesses in placing and finishing, pumping and spraying, and cutting and drilling.
Since 2003, she has been fully focused on building Concrete Pumping Equipment NZ Ltd into a trusted supplier for contractors nationwide.
With over two decades at the helm, Kelly brings extensive industry knowledge and a genuine commitment to supporting contractors across New Zealand, while also leading HR, financial operations, and key decision-making within the business. Her industry leadership extends well beyond CPENZ. Kelly is Chair of the BCITO National Advisory Group - Concrete, Vice President of the New Zealand Concrete Contractors Association, and a Board Member of Te Puna Whai Mātauranga.

Since joining in 2006, Justin has played a key role in growing Concrete Pumping Equipment NZ Ltd into a specialist business contractors can rely on. He has a sharp understanding of what matters most to customers - the right machine for the job, reliability, technical expertise, and straight answers.
Justin is known for his dependable approach and honest advice. He brings expertise across importation, logistics, and sales, while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and contractors both in New Zealand and internationally.
With more than 20 years of industry experience, Justin continues to strengthen CPENZ’s supply capability and operational performance.

Service Manager, Lead Technician
Ray joined Concrete Pumping Equipment NZ Ltd in 2015, bringing more than three decades of mechanical experience to the team. He offers deep technical knowledge combined with strong practical problem-solving skills.
As Service Manager and Lead Technician, Ray works closely with customers to ensure their equipment performs reliably and efficiently in the field. His hands-on approach and strong customer focus make him a trusted point of contact for both service and technical support.
Ray is an authorised and qualified boom inspector for Putzmeister, providing specialist expertise in the inspection and safety of concrete pumping equipment.

Parts Sales Manager & Technical Support
John joined Concrete Pumping Equipment NZ Ltd in 2022, bringing extensive international experience in the concrete pumping industry, including owning and operating a pumping company and working at Putzmeister South Africa.
At CPENZ, John is a key point of contact for customers ordering parts and seeking technical advice. He works closely with contractors to identify the right components and solutions for their equipment, while also liaising with international suppliers to source and procure parts, ensuring accurate solutions and reliable support.
John is highly skilled in interpreting schematics and parts manuals and brings a strong analytical approach backed by deep industry experience. He is also an authorised and qualified boom inspector for Putzmeister, providing specialist expertise in the inspection and safety of concrete pumping equipment.
Administration Manager

Angela joined Concrete Pumping Equipment NZ Ltd in 2015, bringing experience from the finance sector along with a strong background in administration and customer service. Starting as Administration Assistance, she quickly became an integral part of the business and now leads the administration function for CPENZ.
Angela manages invoicing and inwards shipments with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Her organisational skills, IT capability, and conscientious approach are instrumental in ensuring efficient operations and consistently high standards across all aspects of her work.
With over 10 years at CPENZ, she provides a calm, capable presence for both the team and our clients, supporting key processes across the business.
Storeman & Service Assistant
Storeman & Service Assistant
Ethan joined Concrete Pumping Equipment NZ Ltd in January 2023 and is responsible for stores operations, including managing inwards and outwards goods, preparing and dispatching customer orders, and ensuring stock is handled accurately.
With strong mechanical ability and welding certifications, he brings practical capability to the role. Ethan is known for his calm, accurate approach, great attention to detail, and strong focus on health and safety, helping ensure parts are processed and dispatched efficiently.
Some long-time customers may remember Don Tombs, Ethan is the grandson of Don, who was part of the CPENZ team for 12 years.
